Hello! My name is Ko Sugiura. I am a postdoctoral researcher (economics) at Ghent University.

My research interests include macroeconomics and international trade, and econometrics.
In particular, I consider the applications of microeconometric methodologies (including network econometrics) to answer macroeconomic questions.

In my recent paper (JMP), I study the effects of industrial policies when i) industries are linked through production networks and ii) each industry is populated by firms that engage in strategic competitions.
